Account Director

We are looking to hire an Account Director (AD) to actively contribute to and oversee the daily operation of the account team. The AD is responsible for consistently maintaining all client relationships while overseeing all team members to ensure that all campaign activities are executed with precision and in a timely fashion. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as the lead in yearly client program development, working with the MD and the team to strategize campaign elements and ideate initiatives
  • Oversee all duties of a team and their account workflow, consisting of a SAE, AE, and AC; this includes the team’s productivity, efficiency, trouble shooting capabilities and overall success
  • Provide senior level pitching across all accounts, focused on priority national print, broadcast and select online targets; work on long-term pitches setting personal goals for individual clients that support identified areas of focus/goals; assist with local/regional pitching if/when necessary; Schedule weekly meetings with editors and invite junior team members along to foster relationship building
  • Continually ideate marketing and digital campaigns for clients, leading the team in developing holistic integrated plans
  • Initiate new business meetings when appropriate through networking channels
  • Work directly on all new business proposals as assigned, crafting strategies and providing creative ideas for programming while maintaining presentation organization
  • Provide final approval on the development of press releases, status reports, and media lists and write press materials, if necessary
  • Conduct regular brainstorm and pitch meetings with team; track pitches, manage appropriate follow-up and audit pitch activities
  • Check in with social media teams to be sure project work is being completed
  • Work with the MD and internal Human Resources (HR) department to develop processes for administrative systems for best efficiencies and aid in the interview process, as needed
  • Keep abreast of changes in media, new media and all other formats in order to remain a source of information for the agency and clients
  • Be mindful of team work load and step in when needed
  • Mentor and foster growth across core competencies with junior team members
  • Attend appropriate industry and networking events
  • Conduct annual reviews for all team members along with HR
  • Identify larger marketing, branding and media opportunities for all clients
  • Attend events as a company representative regardless of client participation
  • Seek career enriching opportunities; classes and seminars on PR, social media, etc.
  • Communicate agency strategy and plan in a clear and concise manner

required SKILLS + EXPERIENCE

  • A BA degree or the equivalent in communications or a related field
  • 4+ years related experience
  • Excellent verbal, written and editing skills required

  • Proven relationships with media of all genres and a proven ability to pitch the media with appropriate results
  • Proven ability to manage and mentor a team of three (3) or more

Senior Account Executive - Public Relations

We are looking for a savvy Senior Account Executive with a minimum of three years of travel, food and beverage experience to join our public relations team.  We are looking for a seasoned, creative team player and manager with proven media relationships and placements within the food, beverage, travel and  lifestyle realm; a keen understanding of social media and solid client management experience.  He/she will work with roster of clients while managing the daily operation of an account team.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES + RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as a lead client manager, focusing on program development, planning as well as day-to-day campaign and project management and execution
  • Ideate marketing and digital tactics that will help achieve client goals and lead a team in its execution
  • Manage and provide strategic counsel on digital influencers events and programming as it relates to the overall strategy for clients
  • Supervise and contribute to the logistics related to media events and other campaign programming, ensuring all activities ultimately serve the client’s objectives
  • Manage deadlines, prioritizing the team’s work load as needed while keeping an eye on quality
  • Work directly with Bullfrog + Baum’s social media and marketing departments to develop plans to execute in line with client’s goals/needs
  • Assist Bullfrog + Baum with proposal development for new business opportunities and maintain active involvement in the industry
  • Maintain and consistently develop relationships with top-tier media across genres and platforms; mentor junior staff in providing constructive guidance in terms of effective pitching techniques

DESIRED SKILLS + EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of three (3) years of related agency experience with demonstrated success in media relations, influencer relations, event/programming ideation and team and client management
  • Local, regional and national media contacts across new and traditional media (print, broadcast and online portals)
  • An interest in all genres of media that touch the hospitality industry including lifestyle, travel, business, design, and entertaining
  • Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills, the ability to write and edit effectively and to convey creative ideas in an intelligent manner

Digital Director

We are looking to hire a Digital Director who is responsible for overseeing the social media department and all digital campaigns for our clients and for our agency.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and lead execution of digital strategies for all clients and Bullfrog + Baum
  • Build the Agency’s digital/social media network by developing partnerships
  • Serve as expert counsel to all Account Teams with any social media/digital questions, whether a client is contracts for digital services or not
  • Manage and mentor all members of the social media department across core competencies
  • Oversee the development and growth of Bullfrog’s Influencer Agency, ensuring we are engaging with a wide variety of online influencers within various verticals on ongoing basis
  • Work in tandem with Account Teams to support PR and marketing efforts on social media channels and other owned digital platforms for all clients
  • Evaluate metric reports; review monthly documents for all assigned clients and provide counsel to clients regarding progress
  • Monitor relevant trends and media that can be used to engage digital communities; share information office-wide and when appropriate with clients
  • Attend appropriate industry events; provide recap of connections and learnings
  • Work directly with clients on setting goals and expectations; serve as primary social counsel
  • Mine for new business leads for digital clients; lead proposal development and conduct presentations

required SKILLS + EXPERIENCE

  • Expert knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, and all emerging platforms; ability to counsel clients on appropriate use. Experience managing and growing personal/brand channels is a plus.
  • Experience in running paid social media campaigns across all platforms and communicating ROI to clients
  • Expertise in developing and executing digital influencer campaigns, inclusive of identification of on brand influencers, negotiation of paid contracts and communicating ROI to clients. Existing relationships with NYC influencer community is a plus.
  • Understanding of key metrics for all platforms that demonstrate ROI and the ability to explain and translate these metrics to clients
  • Ferociously creative, always strategic; understands how to translate clients’ goals and key messages into compelling content and unique tactics in the digital realm
  • Intermediate understand of photography for the social media realm; seasoned creative eye to oversee shoots, develop story boards and content calendars
  • Able to manage multiple projects and workflows; expert prioritize

We are looking for a Community Manager who specializes in content creation and production and leads the day-to-day maintenance of social media platforms clients and for the agency.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create and manage content calendars for all assigned social media clients and for Agency platforms
  • Conceptualize and lead content gathering sessions under the guidance of the SMM/SMD for clients in-house and at off-site events/shoots
  • Responsible for the technical upkeep of all clients’ social channels; this includes daily monitoring and engagements
  • Collaborate with SMM/SMD and clients on setting goals and expectations
  • Build the Agency’s network by developing partnerships and identifying and engaging digital influencers within various genres to grow internal databases

We are actively seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented Account Coordinator to become the organizational heartbeat and client liaison for one of our Account Teams.  While the Account Coordinator is responsible for providing the Team’s administrative support, they will also actively pitch the media on behalf of a roster of clients.  One (1) year of agency experience is preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in development, planning and implementation of PR campaigns
  • Contribute to/initiate ideas for stories, programs and special events

Bullfrog + Baum is currently seeking an Office Assistant to work in our friendly, non-corporate environment in Chelsea.  The Office Assistant will also function as an executive assistant to the firm's President.

As the first point of contact for our clients and colleagues, we are looking for a unique individual that is able to represent Bullfrog + Baum in the most professional and personable way.  This person would need to take on a great deal of responsibility and take a proactive role in our office to help ensure that it functions as efficiently as possible.

  • Flexibility, the ability to multi-task and excellent organizational and communication skills are a must. 
  • Most important is a willingness to problem solve, roll up your sleeves and do whatever it takes to get the job done
  • The Office Assistant will report to the Director of Operations and be responsible for day-to-day operations of the office, including but not limited to:

-        Answering the telephone and fielding calls appropriately

-        Greeting visitors and clients

-        Managing and maintaining office space and equipment (copiers, printers, computers, etc)

-        Maintaining inventory; working with vendors, and ordering office supplies

-        Serving as liaison with building manager on all necessary repairs and general office maintenance
